Successful applicants must commit to the duration of the program from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026. They will follow a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office at the Detroit office and 2 days of remote work each week. The work hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM ET, Monday through Friday.
Assembly is looking for an Intern, Business Intelligence. As an Intern of Business Intelligence you will be exposed to design, development and deployment of reporting and data visualization solutions that drive marketing intelligence insights for leading brands from across the Travel, Retail, Healthcare, Financial Services and B2B verticals. You will support a data-driven consultancy team leveraging data science, automation and visualizations to identify metrics-based strategies for driving media efficiencies and effectiveness. The role requires a combination of technical, creative and problem-solving skills.
Assist with design, development and management of custom reporting and data visualization solutions for clients.
Support internal teams by helping gather reporting and measurement requirements for both digital and traditional media (SEM, Paid Social, Programmatic, CTV, TV, etc.)
Help build and update automated data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to empower stakeholders with insights and performance metrics on-demand.
Participate in client meetings and email communications alongside senior team members to gain exposure to Analytics engagement for clients.
Generate reports, documentation, and insights as part of the analysis process.
Assist with quality assurance checks for analysis, reporting and data visualization for accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Rising Junior, Senior, or recent Grads
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interest in data, analytics, and understanding how marketing performance is measured and optimized
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Datorama, Power BI, or Looker, with a strong interest in developing deeper expertise across multiple BI platforms
Introductory knowledge of SQL; exposure to Python or R through coursework or personal projects is a plus
Confidence to present data visualizations and analyses to internal stakeholders using relatable terminology over jargon.
Familiarity with the digital marketing ecosystem at a high level (e.g., search, social, display, programmatic advertising) and an eagerness to learn platforms such as Google Marketing Platform, Meta, Trade Desk and similar
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and curious mindset
