Overview

Join Assembly’s Summer Internship Program and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment. Over 10 weeks, you’ll work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry leaders, and have the opportunity to network within the Stagwell network of agencies. This is more than an internship—it’s your chance to kickstart your career in the marketing and advertising industry. 
 
As an intern, you’ll collaborate with our teams on meaningful client projects, attend exclusive workshops and speaker events, and participate in optional programs like Shark Tank-style competitions and career path mini-series. 
 
Our program is open to college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who are eager to explore different facets of the marketing and advertising industry. 

 

Successful applicants must commit to the duration of the program from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026. They will follow a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office at 1WTC and 2 days of remote work each week. The work hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM ET, Monday through Friday. 

Responsibilities

  • Support the Signals initiative, tracking cultural signals that influence macro trends and consumer behavior 

  • Analyze and synthesize insights to help identify emerging trends and implications for brands 

  • Present key findings and spark engaging discussion during an agency-wide webinar  

  • Assist in creating and distributing client-facing newsletters for brands 

  • Learn to prepare for and participate in “Chrysalis” brainstorming sessions, including notetaking and summarizing key ideas 

  • Help package insights and recommendations for a designated client account 

  • Gain hands-on experience using GWI (for audience work) and Nielsen (for media mix scenarios) 

  • Support the development of omnichannel media strategies in collaboration with the broader team 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in  Liberal Arts, Marketing, Communications, Philosophy, Sociology preferred.  

  • Rising Junior, Senior, or recent Grads 

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets and presentation skills (PowerPoint / Google Slides) 

  • Comfort with AI tools like Microsoft Co-Pilot 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

  • Has a knack for pattern recognition and identifying emerging trends 

  • Comfortable speaking up, contributing ideas and perspectives with clarity and confidence

Compensation (Text Only)

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $18-$20/hour. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
