Assembly is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager, Affiliate Marketing to lead a portfolio of Affiliate programs for our clients. This role is both client-facing and execution-focused, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and brings deep expertise in Affiliate and Partnership marketing. You'll guide end-to-end strategy, manage full-funnel partnerships and develop high-performing teams while serving as a trusted partner to clients.
Own Affiliate Strategy & Execution: Lead the strategic direction and day-to-day execution for a portfolio of Affiliate programs. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic leadership and flawless delivery.
Channel & Campaign Management: Design and implement data-driven Affiliate strategies tied to client goals and KPIs. Oversee campaign activations, promotional calendars and performance optimizations across the full partnership funnel (content, cashback, loyalty, influencers, etc).
Partnership Development: Recruit, onboard, and activate Affiliate partners; foster strong, productive relationships; and proactively identify opportunities for growth, innovation and efficiency.
Media & Budget Oversight: Manage client budgets, including forecasting, pacing and ROI analysis. Ensure tactical media planning and accurate financial reporting.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor performance, interpret data and provide actionable insights that inform strategy. Deliver clear, strategic recommendations and communicate the "why" behind the data.
Client & Team Leadership: Lead strategic client communications and deliverables. Mentor and manage junior team members, supporting their development and optimizing workload allocation.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across media, influencer, CRM, creative and finance. Support new business pitches, process rollouts, and innovation initiatives.
Operational Excellence: Own finance workflows for client billing, vendor payments, and reconciliations. Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure deadlines are met with exceptional attention to detail.
3-5 years of experience in Affiliate and/or Performance Marketing, ideally in an agency or ecommerce setting
Expertise with Affiliate platforms/networks (Impact, CJ, Partnerize, Rakuten)
Proven ability to manage full-funnel Affiliate partnerships including content, loyalty, cashback, and influencer partners
Strong grasp of digital marketing principles and adjacent channels (e.g., CRM, PR, social, paid media)
Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Omniture and Tableau
Experience managing and owning budgets, forecasts and media spend
Excellent communication, presentation and client management skills
Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Bachelor’s degree required
Knowledge of HTML or Affiliate tracking implementations is a plus
