Overview

Assembly is seeking a Group Director, Client Experience to lead one of our most dynamic global client relationships. Acting as the connective tissue across five global regions (North America, APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and MENA) and two sides of the client’s business (brand and eCommerce), this role requires a visionary client partner with proven experience in guiding global enterprise clients and driving transformation through media, data, and technology. This leader will be responsible for client satisfaction, team performance, and growth strategy across complex international operations. You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders to deliver integrated, high-impact media strategies, and build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior strategic lead and trusted partner across multiple global markets and business units
  • Build strong, executive-level client relationships across both brand and eCommerce divisions
  • Drive global account coordination, ensuring consistency, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across all regional teams
  • Lead the integration of media, tech, and data to deliver strategic, scalable marketing solutions
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality work across multiple markets and disciplines, ensuring alignment with client business objectives
  • Partner with analytics and media teams to define KPIs, establish reporting cadences, and continuously optimize performance
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional internal teams, ensuring strong talent development and operational excellence
  • Collaborate on new business initiatives and contribute to overall agency growth through organic and net-new opportunities
  • Stay current on global media trends and platform innovation to bring thought leadership to clients and internal teams

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of experience managing complex, multi-market client relationships at an agency or global brand
  • Demonstrated success in leading global enterprise clients, ideally across both brand and eCommerce sectors
  • Strong fluency in omni-channel media, digital platforms, data strategy, and emerging tech
  • Proven experience aligning global strategy with regional execution in matrixed organizations
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a track record of growing high-performing teams
  • Highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and resilient in dynamic client environments
  • Strong analytical mindset, with ability to translate performance data into strategic decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus

Compensation (Text Only)

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $130,000 - $160,000USD. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
