Overview

Assembly is looking for a Senior Associate, Affiliate Marketing. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Associate, Affiliate Marketing with 2-3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, ideally within retail and e-commerce. This role will focus on optimizing client affiliate programs, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong partnerships within the Affiliate and Performance Creator landscape.   

Responsibilities

  • Affiliate Program Management: Lead and optimize affiliate programs for top retail brands, leveraging platforms like Impact, Partnerize, CJ, Rakuten, AWIN, and LTK to drive performance and efficiency.  
  • Partnership Development: Source, recruit, and retain top-performing affiliate partners and creators while identifying emerging trends and opportunities.  
  • Performance & Budget Oversight: Manage annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets, ensuring proper pacing and alignment with revenue goals.  
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor program and partner performance, proactively identifying insights to drive strategic growth.  
  • Campaign Execution & Communications: Oversee campaign initiatives, manage partner relationships, and develop communications such as newsletters and updates.  
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Affiliate Director and internal teams to align affiliate strategies with broader marketing initiatives.  
  • Reporting & Insights: Own and deliver data-driven reports, providing strategic recommendations to optimize program performance.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of affiliate marketing experience, preferably in a media agency, in-house, or e-commerce/retail role with a passion for performance marketing and a bias for the status quo. 
  • Strong understanding of affiliate networks, performance-based marketing, and key industry platforms (Impact experience a plus).  
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools to track performance and ROI.  
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and drive results in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to influence stakeholders.  
  •  A proactive, analytical, and adaptable mindset with a passion for affiliate marketing.  
  • Ability to travel for conferences, client meetings, and team gatherings as needed.  

 

Bonus Points For: 

  • Experience managing content and influencer-focused affiliate programs  
  • Understanding of other media channels such as Social, Search, Branded Media, and Influencer Marketing.

Compensation (Text Only)

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $61,000 - $80,000USD. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
