Overview

Assembly is seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate/Junior Project Manager, Growth Operations to join our dynamic Growth Solutions team. This role is integral in supporting the execution of new business pitches, RFI/RFP responses, and cross-functional project coordination. You’ll be instrumental in managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring consistent communication across teams—empowering our strategists, designers, and leadership to focus on winning business. 

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a deadline-driven environment, and is passionate about process, collaboration, and problem-solving. This is a great opportunity to grow into a strategic project management or operations role in a fast-paced, high-visibility team. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing pitch timelines and internal workbacks for RFI/RFP opportunities 
  • Maintain and update project trackers across platforms (e.g., Pipedrive, Monday.com, SharePoint) 
  • Support the setup and organization of project folders, Teams channels, and file repositories 
  • Track team deliverables, flag blockers, and follow up on open tasks with internal stakeholders 
  • Capture meeting notes, assign next steps, and ensure follow-through across teams 
  • Schedule internal check-ins and external touchpoints for new business pursuits 
  • Track team availability and coordinate with account leads, strategy, and creative teams 
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams (creative, strategy, design, ops) 
  • Assist in compiling backgrounders and discovery briefs on prospective clients 
  • Coordinate with the research team for ad hoc prospect intel and reports 
  • Help manage travel logistics and hospitality coordination for in-person pitches 
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Growth platforms and systems 
  • Assist with regular updates in Outlook, growth calendars, dashboards, and internal reports 
  • Learn and help administer project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Pipedrive, Teams) 

Required Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, account/project management, or agency operations preferred 
  • Extremely organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts 
  • Self-starter with strong follow-through and accountability 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Comfortable working with a range of teams across functions and levels 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Excel), MS Teams, and collaboration platforms (Monday.com, SharePoint)

Compensation (Text Only)

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $50,000 - $65,000USD. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
